Tummy Timer | The Play Card Co
A deck of 24 simple play idea cards, to bring laughter to your home, give time back to parents all whilst entertaining the kids!
Let’s introduce our Tummy Timer;
Hi, I am new here! When I am not feeding, sleeping, or getting my nappy changed I usually chill on my back. The big people in my life love to challenge me with tummy time but it’s really hard work. Distracting me with something fun is a great way to encourage me to ‘work out’ for longer.
What should the Tummy Timer be able to do – Lay down on their back , on their tummy. This is the deck of cards is generally for the new-baby stage.
You may notice we don’t have age ratings on our cards.
That is because we believe in celebrating a child’s stage over their age!
We know that regardless of age, they have worked hard to get where they are and so have you as their number 1 cheerleader.
Choose your PLAY CARD™ collection based on what your child can do!
What should the Sit Up Champion be able to do – Sit up independently. This is the deck of cards is generally for the old-baby stage.

How to use Play cards
Using PLAY CARDS™ is as simple as, picking a card, collecting a few household items and getting playful!
Using PLAY CARDS™ is as easy as 1, 2, 3!
1. Choose a card.
2. Collect the things you need from around the house.
3. Start playing!
During phase 1 of PLAY CARD prep, you can involve your children. Prompting them to choose their play by looking at the illustrations. Phase 2 of PLAY CARD prep, is also a great time to involve children. Turn this phase into a treasure hunt, a race to play or an adventure! The magic of these ideas is the play can start as one thing and then imaginations and inspiration take over, making them into something else. From basket weaving to turning a washing basket into a boat? What a great adventure!
